This place is really awesome. They have been very honest with me and my family, they're not very expensive and if they see a problem they'll ask if you want to tackle it now or wait or if it's a safety thing they'll take care of it right away. Highly recommend!
I recently brought my Ram 1500 into Cherry Valley Automotive for an A/C issue. I was assuming due to what I looked up that it was my blend door actuator which isn’t cheap to fix. I dropped my truck off and Steve had his guys look at it the following day. About 11am, I get a call from Emmitt telling me they found the issue. At this point I’m seeing dollar signs just leave my bank account. Emmitt tells me that it isn’t actually what I thought it was and it just needed to be serviced and recharged. WHAT?!?! That’s great news!! He gave me a time that it’d be ready and it was. I also asked about something else regarding my vehicle. They put it on the lift, checked it out and told me exactly how to go about having it repaired as they weren’t able to fix it and I needed a reliable muffler shop. I’ve always been leery of auto repair shops due to dishonest work I’ve dealt with in the past. I read some of the reviews on CV Automotive and thought I’d give them a shot. I brought in my mother's old Saturn Vue because of rattling I could not account for. Within an hour they identified the problem as both axles. They explained why that was the cause of the issue and it made sense. Even though it is an old car they were able to get the parts and get the job done in one day for a very fair price. Steve drove me home and then picked me up later that day when the car was done. When they found out I had AAA they applied a discount and the price was even more affordable. Now the car drives like new, all issues handled. Very friendly, professional and honest family-owned business. Highly recommended.
Went in for a transmission oil change. Service/ labor time exceeded my expectations. As I had no appointment they still managed to squeeze me in the same day. They went above and beyond paying close attention to details and informed me of any other concerns regarding my car, also recommended appropriate mileage for future maintenance. I did an oil change there. People were polite and they worked on my car without much delay as I had made an appointment. Charges were reasonable. Will use them again.
