2012 Honda Civic

Checked play on pump. Tensioner pulley and tensioner had excessive play. After installation of new tensioner, found that vehicle still was making very small knocking noise coming a/c compressor. Customer stated that other shops have recommended a/c compressor based off of it failing and a/c not working. Advised customer we would recommend replacing a/c compressor due to the knocking noise, but would still need to diagnose the vehicle for not blowing cold.

2023 Ford Bronco Sport

First code was a P0303 for cylinder 3 misfire, and a P3402 for cylinder 1 deactivation/intake valve control. Upon removal of coils, found that cylinder 3 coil was split in half causing vehicle to misfire. Techncian states to replace 3 coils and 3 spark plugs. Technician also state sto replace the cylinder deactivation solenoid due to their being a open TSB. TSB number SSM50382 states to replace solenoid. After removal of solenoid, technician stated he found a very small piece of metal on the screen portion of solenoid. After installation of new parts, technician drove vehicle for 5 miles and no codes returned and vehicle drove great.
